dash lights

dash lights where my heater and a/c components are stopped workin. i was told it maybe a fusebut im not sure which fuse it is. 98 eclipse gst

If you aren't sure, just pull them all and replace all the messed up ones you see. Won't take longer than 10 minutes, and you may find some other ones needing replaced as well.

I'm not sure there is a specific fuse just for your heater/AC lights. So, if you do not find a broken fuse, I would suggest pulling the center console and looking for loose connections.

If it was fuse the hole dash would be out, Check the bulbs under the cluster.

First, make sure you didn't accidentally turn the dimmer all the way down.

There is only one light for the hvac assembly that lights up the whole unit (except for the a/c switch).

The light is where the red wires come out of. Take off the vents above the hvac and try to stick your hand down in there to remove the bulb. You have to twist the bulb to remove it.

You are likely to find it's just loose in its socket. It has no dedicated fuse.

There is a fuse that controls the intire dash console???

not trying to hijack but I have one dash light the flickers on every blue moon in the upper right corner of the speedo. bulb is good and seems tight, connections are clean, what else could help.

Oh and I'm checking that bulb out tomorrow for my heater control lights, never thought it was just one, didn't want to pay bucks replacing a bunch of lil ones
