Ok im New To DSM.... Just Tottaled My T/A some people just dont know how to drive.. anyways i had this talon i bought sittin around and now im gonna start drving it.... my question is that the dash lights the center console lights wont come on at all and the Overheads wont come on with the door open.. if i press the light button they come on.... I pulled the Guage cluster and noticed that i was missing a few little Black Screw Light Things that go in there and hold the bulbs in the cluster and look like they complete the circuits on the back of the cluster... now i took a test light to see if i was getting power and when i ran the probe up and down the 3 harnesses behind the cluster if i got a hot wire and touched the next prong..or basicallly grounding to the nest little prong then i would get some lights... like one harness would make the center console come on.. another harness would control the over head lights with the doors open... then another wouls light up my crusie and power mirrors button.. ok so to the question.. since im missing like 3-4 little black things is the circuit not being completed to turn on the other lights.. it look like all power is sent thru the guages for all the int. lights..... Took about 2 hours to come to this conclusion.... What do you think.?? :thumb: :talon:

the cluster should have all of the lights on one circut. the dash lights are all strung together like christmas lights and if one goes out i think they are all on the same circuit and the others will not function. check your fuses as well. the interior fuse box is located under the dash on the left hand side under the drivers vent. good luck man. :thumb:

yea i checked the fuses last night there all good..... Im going with the Circuit isnt being complete because of the pieces missing that tigh the little wires togther..... thanks

A lot of times the overhead lights dont come on when you open the door because of a bad actuator switch that is located in the door jam. If you take it out, make sure the ground is clean, and plug it back in it might work. I had to do this when I installed my alarm. Anyway, if one bulb goes out, they will not all go out. I know this might sound stupid, but do you have the dimmer switch turned down? Otherwise, put the screw things back in and see if that works.
