My coolant light, brake light, and battery light on my dash light up everything the engine is at 2000 rpm or less. They dim as the rpms reach 2000 and go off.

It first started a week ago. I dropped the hammer and red lined my engine at 7200 rpm on a short bust in first gear. Then drove it normally. After making a left turn and getting on it in second gear, I put in my clutch to shift to 5th gear and the dash lights came on. I thought it had stalled at first and tried to start it. It was still on. My music was too loud for me to tell if it was on or not. I checked all those lights, coolants fine, battery is decent of the time being, and my e-brake isn’t on all the time. Don’t know why it’s doing this.

I had that problem when I put one of the pulleys on backward. It forced the belt to twist just an ass hairs width out of alignment. I was new to 4G63's and my friend helped put that part together after we did my head gasket. I thought I didn't have the belt tight enough. It took a load of tightening, 3 belts, and me taking a long look at how the belt was setup before I realized what we did.

My lights came on when the belt was to tight, the belt was to loose,,, and when it fell off or shredded; and it shredded twice.

Hope that helps :)

I did something stupid and left my parking lights on over night. Of course it killed the battery. Now, I tinkered around for a bit and my battery only puts out 9 volts. I decided to jump start it. Tried it the safe way, let the other car run, turn it off, and then try to start my car. It didn't work. I checked the battery and it went from 12v to 7v. I then continued to jump start the car with the other one running. I turned on. Went to go check the voltage and see if I could take off the + on the battery to tell if the alternator was preforming. It died before I got there. Alternator bad? I did't have any accessories on and the 3 dash lights were still on.
