I need to replace the gas gauge light and a few speedometer lights. But i can't seem to find any in the two closest stores to me.

A Google also floods with irrelevant results.

The only thing they list, is these silly, accessory led lights.

If i have to go to the pull yards, what vehicles should have these?

I may be searching too broadly, is there a part number or specific name for these particular led's?

I'd like to try blue.

#74-xHP LED CAR BULB Specifications

think these are correct?

Why the heck are they so expensive?

3 years ago I could buy 50 of these for $2

:sosad:

But yes this seems to be an awesome site. I have bookmarked it thank you so very much!

I'm also looking for High powered UV LED's to be used as headlights. Or anything that can be helpful in highlighting roadlines and people / signs

Why? Night time driving in hard rain, sucks. particularly when roads are not maintained.

At one time i jerry rigged a 120v 8" uv bulb, I wrapped some polished stainless steel around it like a funnel, pointed it forward, mounted it on the front.

Worked great for a while, but it's not weather proof, or shock proof. And HP LED's would be a more potent beam. Thanks ahead of time for any assistance with this.
