Gave my 1996 Eclipse GST a good wash and took it for a run, ran rough and sputtered particularly under load. CEL came on and read as a P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire. Replaced spark plugs and still sputters but hasn’t thrown a code. Tried switching plug wires for 1 and 2 (both on plug and coil) to see if it’s a bad wire. While it seemed to be less severe, it still sputters. Haven’t gotten it to throw a code since so can’t tell if misfire remains on cyl 2 or moved to cyl 1.

Where would you recommend from here, replace wire since it got moderately better on different cylinder/coil or is it likely a bad coil?
