I've got a 97 GSX and in process of a 6 bolt swap and was not able to press the splines of the cv shaft out of the hub on either side. I tried a 3 jaw puller and a sledge hammer and they won't even budge. Sprayed them with penetrating oil and also heated the hubs to try to break the rust free to no avail. They are rusted in their solid. The entiire rest of the car has no rust on it and never have any problems taking anything else apart. Anyone have this problem? going to disassemble and pull out as a unit and try to press them out of the hub and spindle. Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks for the input, i will try to see if i can find one. I didn't go to pull the cv shafts just for removing the engine. I did it because they needed replacing.(Sorry i didn't clarify) Thank you for the input. Hope i can find this puller.
