Your VC turned out great!

Stripped the red off my VC and painted a new design. Letting it sit overnight. Will post pics after work tomorrow, if it comes out right anyway.

Thread in oil cap. :thumb:

You might also want to consider larger ports for improved crankcase evacuation, and one of Kevin's aluminum baffle kits.

I got one in the shop now that is doing it the same way that you have yours. He is getting the bung welded in for the oil cap, Kevin's baffles with 8AN fittings. And another getting fittings and Kevin's baffles and on top of all that some sick ass powdercoating work :) One is going to be candy blue over a silver vein, cannot wait to see the finish on it!

I look forward to seeing your stuff complete. It is going to look good. ;)

I am emailing the guy that makes the billet vc and he said the price range would probably be in the $6-650 range. Depending on features that come with the vc I will be hard pressed to get one.

Well here's the final paint job. It's hard to tell, but it's a silvery-blue faded into satin black with the rain-effect paint job over it. Satin black for the spark plug channel. The spark plug cover I'm thinking about painting satin black as well, just kinda wish I painted it to match the valve cover. :sneaky:

I may just paint it to match anyway. Just wish I thought about it when I did the paint so it'd all flow together with the same pattern. Thanks though :thumb:

Was planning on painting the engine bay itself satin black, along with a lot of other components. But now that I think about it, I might just have the bay painted to match the VC and still do the other parts satin black. I want most everything under the hood to be black. Gonna have to remember this idea.

looks good how long did that take once you got the old stuff off

It really didn't take long. I took the VC to work to work on during my breaks and had heat lights on it to speed up the paint curing. If I didn't do that, it would have taken a few days.

Ill get pics posted later today but i did a classic nes controller design on my civic hatch valve cover
