black valve covers.-----.

hey...

I have a 95 TSi and it has a black valve cover that has "mitsubishi" .
I've seen the silver ones and red also but not any black...it appears OEM and not painted..does anyone have any info or pics of other black VC's ?

I believe that valve cover came on the VR-4's or Evo's I think. Perhaps a valve cover switch. There is a site that you can order either the 'DOHC' or 'Mitsubishi' valve covers from but I can't think of it right now. I think that it has to be painted since the factory Eclipse/Talons were unpainted and the VR-4's were red (I think).

btw a guy i know has a black cover just like that. but we just figured it was painted.

The JDM version had the black valve cover with Mitsubishi on it.

EVO valve covers are a platinum/bronze colour, not black.

It's just a painted black one. It's really not hard.
