custom down pipe ?'s

i was considering making a custom downpipe, i was considering taking out my cat to.

my ?'s are as followed-
will this mess anything up? such as sensors, ext.
what should i use to port my o2 housing a little bit, or how hard is it to make a custom one?
how hard will it be to fabricate a downpipe, ive taken like a small welding class but thats about it. .
and how many people have made there own strut bars?
pictures of the custom work youve done would be greately appreciated, so mayb i can get some ideas thanks!

Seeing as you have a 2G you'll need to bypass your rear o2 sensor

And don't bother with custom strut tower bars, you can buy them from Tuning Pro's for $35 for the front and back and a tie bar.
