Cruise control on turbo/AWD cars?

Hey people, working with an odd one here. My JDM 1996 Chariot Resort Runner GT didn't come with cruise control from the factory, and I'm not sure it was ever offered on them at all.

Were any 1G/2Gs with the 5spd manual and AWD ever offered with cruise? Or VR-4s for that matter? I'm looking for options to retrofit it if possible. I know it was offered on the US market Expo with the automatic, so I figure the parts bin might come through for me here.

Yes, it was offered in two different types. The 90 cars had a cruise system based on an electrical actuator and the later 91-99 used a vacuum based system.

The 90 system is discussed in the 90 DTM and the 90 FSM, the vacuum version in the later FSM's.
