1G Removing Cruise Control?

I remember taking my cruise control cable off when I was replacing the head and I believe for some reason my gas pedal was just limp.

Did I do something incorrectly, or what not? Do you know the steps I need to take to complete this?

So while I'm waiting for my new clutch, I decided to delete the cruise control. My question is, do I have to buy a non cruise cable or can I just use the one I have? If I can use the one I have, than how would I go about doing so?

You will want a non cruise cable... thats how I did mine

But I can't remember where I read it at I'm sure it was on this forum but there was a gentleman or two who routed the same throttle cable but did some little twists around something or something like that because of the length of it and it seemed to work out fine. Also the bracket I seen on one post gentleman made a bracket out of something?

Open the cruise box that it goes into and take a look... i know you can mofify it and make a bracket to work if you have to.

I spent the extra couple bucks and avoided frustration myself.
