Crowers NEW 264/272 Street combo

So HK$ cams are on such a back order, I am looking at alternatives. Anyone running these cams? How is the idle, drivablilty, power gains and install? I know thats a lot, but I really could not find too much information on them.

I have not installed the cams but I talked to crower about them. Crower says that they are the next best thing to having hks. Remember, Cams are the last resort. You should Mod everthing possible first, then when left with nothing else do cams.

Crane is making cams too if you wanna check them out.

WTF? cams make a HUGE difference once you run a bigger turbo.. like a 16g+ you will see giant gains with a set of cams... its one of the best bang for buck mods after a bigger turbo and exhaust and the usual crap..

when i ordered my stage 1 shortblock from Slowboy i toled to them a while about cam combos and they STRONGLY recommend the crower setup, they said its more or less identicle to the HKS264/272 combo and will make HUGE gain on cars running higher boost on larger turbos..

they are my next mod, before a 50+ trim (havent decided on turbo yet)

I just ignored that post. but I hear all these recommendations for these cams but noone with them. Maybe my car will be the guinea pig.

I am not putting them in my car because I bought them and my girlfriend somehow got her hands on some hks cams so I decided to keep the hks.. But Crower states they are the samething as the HKS and I bought them from slowboy and they say they stand behind the cams.. They can be run just fine with no cam gears.. They are 530 from the store or 500 from me
