HKS 272/272 or 264/272 Cams?

Ive got a 1G... all I do is get put on a sniffer. Quite easy to pass, some people even pass it with no CAT! (i personally know these people, not hersey)

According to the AMS article:

264/264 is good
264/272 is a little better and
272/272 is the best, right?

So if you are in between small turbos and big ones, and perhaps have big plans for the future, why not go with 264/272. Then when you want that last bit of power and are ready to take advantage of it, you only have one $300 cam to buy.

if you have plans with big turbo go with 272/272 but good luck getting a hold of those any time soon man.

I passed with 264/264. Also depends who you go to smog in SJ .

I have 264/264 combo and AGP RS49 (50 trim) being installed this weekend. Do you think I would actually notice a huge difference with a 272 exhaust cam if I only plan on revving to 7300rpm and making 380hp on race gas?

Has anyone compared 264 vs 272 with a 50 trim turbo?

I run the HKS 264/272 combo along with my ported FP Big28, the idle sounds very sweet with a lumpty lump here and there, but all in all they were a very nice compliment to my Big28. Very nice power increase IMO. Also if I decide to go with a FP green or 50 trim on down the road I should still be fine running the 264/272 combo.
