Crazy startup: ideas?

Okay so Today I drove to work, startup was fine. Ran great to work

Parked the car didn't touch it till I got off.

When i got off went to start up to leave, wouldn't start. After trying and trying, finally did, but felt like only one cylinder was keeping it alive.

Idled at like 400 Rpms, gave it a small rev, after a few minute. Recovered like normal.

Drives fine like there's no issues, just at startup.

Went home, couple hours later. Same thing

It was just decided (because I was having some sputtering after messing with wires) that the connections to the wires are probably weak.

I would imagine that's not causing this because the problems don't continue after a few minutes and a little gas

Fuel pressure is fine, didn't notice any kinks or problems with vac lines or anything.

Help please?

i had the same problem on mine it was the coolant temp switch on the outlet, when the car would get cold that switch is messed up and what it does is make the ecu think its like -20 or some crazy number and what it does is cause the ecm to richen up your mix so much that it wont start or it runs real rough for awhile... so id try that

I had a similar issue a couple years back that anchew is describing. Does this only happen after the car has cooled down for bit? I know mine would only act up when the engine was cold.

If the ECU adjusted fuel for -20 temps, it wouldn't the car run rich 100% of the time?

First time was cold start, second time wasnt completely cold but sat for a few hours, and still did it.

Got up today, no problems. Didn't do it once.

My car is haunted
