startup problem

Hi I have a 1992 eagle talon tsi its automatic with the stock turbo a 10lbs I have a stock fuel pump rewired the car takes forever to start both hot and cold but after its started it runs great I have replaced both the in tank fuel filter and the one on the firewall and have changed the spark plugs and wires is it my fuel pressure regulator the car never had the problem until I rewired the pump and threw in 450cc injectors but I swapped the old injectors back but I still have the problem

you can buy a used fpr from gary at mitsubishi graveyard and that will most likely tell you...

Are you sure your fuel pump isn't bad? Sometimes the fuel pump will overheat and cause it to fail, not very uncommon on the stock pump when it is rewired. Also are you sure you rewired the pump correctly? I'd try a new OE FPR before blowing a ton of money on a aftermarket, and I def would not go through DSMGraveyard for anything.
