new to the forum and could not find any info on this. I am doing a auto to manual swap to a 90 eagle fwd. I have gotten my parts from a 91. i just noticed something that has me worried and don't know if it makes a difference it seams my 90 auto crank is different from the 91 manual crank. there seams to be some kind of small lip on it that i only assume must be for some kind of line up for the tc. If i put the flywheel on it does not sit flush with the crank only that ring pushing it like 1/8 to 1/4inch away does this make a difference??? will everything still fit correctly? putting pics up of both. thanks -kevin-

you need to remove that ring. I did it with a socket and hammer. The socket need to fit in side the ring with little gap. I then hit the socket from different sides and worked it out.

It looks like you are missing the locating pin on the manual crank I recommend you buy one they are only a few bucks.

^What he said. Like nuclearr says, that ring isn't part of the crank, it's a separate piece that can be removed.

Thanks! i had no idea that came out LOL. this location pin i assume it fits in the 7th hole what does it do and is it necessary since i see no spot on the flywheel for it?

came with the trans looked stock to me :sneaky:
