Sorry if this is a stupid question but i dont have money to take it somewhere..

My gf has a 1 inch crack in her windshield I wanna know if anybody has repaired a cracked windshield before.

Did a little bit of research and found this shit online, has anybody ever tried this stuff?

I actually work in autoglass, usually if they're bigger than a quarter they are hard to save. I'm a "certified rock chip repair specialist", and those kits hardly work. Take it to the local autoglass store and ask if they can repair it. Once you fill the chip with epoxy, it's really hard to repair it right. -Jesse

some local window places will come and fill in the crack and it should have a lifetime warranty stated that the crack will not get any larger. i had this done on one of my vehicles and the crack has not enlarged and its been almost a year. this im sure only applies to small cracks of course.
