1996 Eclipse GST
Ok, so I really have 2 questions, my main one right now being:
1. What is the best recommendation for turning that clutch adjustment rod? I put an OE clutch in it this weekend, and the pedal has to go ALL THE WAY to the floor, and even still sometimes it grinds going into gear. I bled the system for about an hour, solid lines of clear new fluid are going through, so I think its jut out of adjustment. I got under there, and someone was there before me, the rod is all chewed up and none of my pliers want to grab it to turn it. Is there a different way? Also, which way should it be rotated to bring the clutch pedal out away from the floor?
2. Are there any common issues with door locks? Mine has power locks...but the key wont work in the tumblers, doors or hatch. Will only start the car. I press the lock button and they sound like a door that's already locked when you hit lock again, like a click click sound but nothing happens. Don't know I if I want to tear into it if I can see about a common issue.
