first one.. i redid my vc gasket, they were stripped housing heli coiled them ok to go,, no leaks so, in the process now after i installed everything i have a bad lifter tick? will this dissappear shortly? since the valve cover was off??

should their be some play in the timing belt?




OH OK I REMEMBER is the oil temp gauge supposed to be super low??? or is mine not working properly,, never seen it move past L

After you check that, see if you have any oil Ha ha ha. But seriously, if you really mean oil temp, I wouldn't worry about that.
