I just bought a reman 1g throttle body from Throttle bodys.com ,very nice and super fast shipping .When you completely let of the throttle it pushes on a switch . My other 1g TB didn't have this . Is this the Idle switch ,and do I have to check simulate idle switch on Dsmlink if I'm not using it ? It's going on a 2G .I am also just about done hooking up the Aem wideband . Can someone point me towards a tech article on hooking up to 75 pin on the Ecu . Dumb question : Where is my ECU ? Thanks

The 2g ECU is behind the radio, its best to remove the side panels on the center console to have the best access

your 2g should have a 4 wire tps and that eliminates the need for an external closed throttle switch.
just think of it like a sas on a 2g and pretend the connector on top isn't there.
