corvette z06 rims, possible?

Will corvette rims fit on an eclipse? Specifically the C5 z06 wheels. Might sound odd, but I think it would look damn nice if it was possible. Plus, who wouldn't want to see some part of american muscle on our american cars

I would say no for the Rims are too wide for the suspension.

Even if you found 4 18's. I know 18's in the front and 19's in the rear would be a deff no no. But would 18's all around work?

I looked into this before and for the wheels that I found I thought they'd look great and would be awesome for the price (nice and wide) given that the fenders and such be modified appropriately to fit them. However, they were the wrong bolt pattern. It may have been 5x120 or 5x115 or something like that.

Sounds like a small problem , But you can see if there are any replica wheels out there.

The C5 ZO6 rims have a different bolt pattern and wont line up. It also would be too wide for the Eclipse's fenders.

My C5 ZO6 rims are 18" all around, 9.5 in front, 10.5 in the back.

BTW, why would you want them on an Eclipse? There are tons of choices out there for our cars and the heavy ZO6 rims are the last thing you want for this car.

When I see them on Camaros, I just frown because they do not look right esp with the crossed-flags emblem.

Hey its all about having the perfect balance, Cough*..19's FTMFW!!..Cough* . IMO just find some nice light 18's or 19's that look similar.

Just to give you an idea, the offset is +56mm for the 17x9.5" and +50mm for the 18x9.5" (replicas). Adapters would be needed to change the bolt pattern to 5X120.7mm (5X4.75"). At that point, they may stick out too far. There are other ways but, it's a lot of work just to install a set of wheels.

, I didn't mean it like that. Of course I want to go fast, why the well would I buy a GSX then! Right now it is down and in the process of a motor swap and manual tranny swap. Picked up a 7bolt with a rebuilt 1g head and the jdm cyclone manifold that is ported w/ a 1G N/T TB. Going to have that properly actuated . Right now I have my friends dad customizing the 1g and 2g water pipe to = one custom pipe . Now I need to find a AWD manual tranny
