Coolant temp sensor wire

Can someone check thier coolant temp sensor wire for me. I need to know where the two wires go. The connecter is shaped like a T, there is a yellow wire with a green trace and a green wire with a black trace. I need to know which wire goes on which spade. My connecter is MIA, I have a new connecter to put on but not sure which wire goes where. Its on a 1991 Talon TSi. Thanks.

Here you go - rough Photoshop drawing. Haha.

The green wire w/ black stripe is the power wire. I'm not w/ my car right at the moment, but I can get a picture of the sensor/wires a bit later if you need me to. Mine's rewired as well.

If you are re-wiring the actual plug, the Green wire goes through the SMALLER of the two 'holes'. You don't need the plug, though. You can use spade connectors and electrical tape, if you feel like going the ghetto route. ( )

As mentioned above, you can do it the ghetto way too(as i did). Spade connectors work great.

(Er, disregard the A, B, C. Pic was from an old post where I was referencing what plugs go where)...

I used the front tip of the stock plug, and cut the bottom of the boot off, then spliced new wires through it. My stock wires broke off right at the end of the plug. I was pissed.

Yep, mine broke off at the end of the plug too...grrrrrrrrr. Oh well, ghetto way takes the win this time.
