I have a 2g 1995 gs, non-turbo. My problem is that my coolant in the reservoir will be gone in a matter of a couple weeks after I filled it full. I was under the intention that the coolant was a sealed system, so any idea where it is all going? I haven't seen any coolant leak anywhere where I park or anything. Any ideas? Thanks

It will look like milky. New oil is light, old oil is dark. Oil and water will look nasty, you will notice it right away.

My overflow has to be topped up once a week, my problem is coolant is leaking out the lower rad hose where it meets the t-stat housing. I have to readjust my clamp.

Check out your hoses.

I should do a quit oil change and see whats up. What discoloration should I be looking for?

You can pull the dipstick and if it looks white/milky that would mean water in the oil. I highly doubt it is a headgasket. If it were the car would run hot and spew water all over the ground when you stop. I don't see why everyone says it's a headgasket when it doesn't even overheat.

It will have a cream color to it if there is coolant leaking internally. I def recommend an oil change just to be sure and check it out. :)

I checked the dipstick yesterday and the oil is looking normal. I think it may have to be something with the heater hose since my o2 heater sensor made the Check Engine light come on the other day. The only thing is, I can't find that hose :(
