Hey I have a 95 GST with no mods with the exception of an intake and a MBC (14psi). After installing my MBC 2 days later i start my car drive, get into boost, and a huge cloud of white smoke comes out. Now its puffing white at idle and when i drive. I have done the following:
-compression is 164-160-160-164 (not done at operating tempetures)
-no oil in spark plug valley
-no oil than normal in piping, maybe a lil more
-sparkplugs are no blacker than im guessing they would be noramlly
-I hear this gurgulling/bubbling sound coming from the turbo wen i put my ear to the intake
-turbo has minimal in and out play if any, and side to side play is more than i had.

I think it would be a blown turbo seal somewhere letting coolant in and I think thats the noise im hearing.
PLEASE HELP ME, this is my only car.
Thanks.

White smoke = coolant leak which is likely:

1.) A crack in the water jacket that is causing coolant to flow into the turbo housing. Do you see any visible coolant traces in the compressor inlet/IC pipes or downpipe?

2.) Headgasket is starting to fail around a cooling passage.

Have you seen any noticable drops in the coolant/oil level?

BTW.. spark plugs should be grey/tan in color not black if your car is running properly.

Use a cooling system tester/pressurizer. Pressurize it watch in the cylinders with the spark plugs out for coolant puddles and watch in the turbo. Keep doing this till you see coolant some where, by keeping the system around 13-15psi.

sounds to me like you blew your head gasket. the white smoke means your burning coolent. just happened to me but mine wasnt that bad it just had white smoke if i hit the gas. if it is your head gasket you need to get it fixed, because burning coolent is not good for your engine.
