OK guys... I did some research on this and i did find something. Im converting my 98 GSX ECU to a 95 Eprom ECU. I found that you have to change spark plug wires 4-3 and 2-1.. basically switch them around. Now I did that to my car and well it did turn on but unfortunatlly its kind of misfireing. Car idles pretty bad and when trying to rev it, it revs nasty and at about 4k rpms it kind of pops like if I had a 2 step LOL.. I think i might have to change the injector wires around but not sure. What do you guys think might be wrong. I would really appreciate if you guys could help me out. THANKS!! :thumb:

I had checked it already and well mine doesnt have the cam sensor on the valve cover nor the cop system.. so what i did was swapped the wires.. Also.. i saw that it says something about enableling the "Invert CAS" option in the ECU→Miscellaneous dialog. What does that mean or how do I invert it. THANKS fo all your help...:D

You also need to swap your injector wires. The wires should be long enough to swap them at the injector, that's how I did it. If they are not long enough, they will have to be swapped at the ecu.

Before I swapped my injector wires, it seems to idle fairly decent, but the engine seemed to be working harder than usual to hold 60MPH on the highway. After swapping them, all was good.

when I turn it on it doesn't even idle right... also, what pattern do i plug the injectors? how do i change them..

O sorry guys but I also forgot to mention that the Eprom ECU im putting has a key driver chip that some other member had on his car with same setup as me except that he had a maft and I don't. Do you think this could be the problem. I checked their website to see if this would be a problem and answers where that it didn't matter that I didn't have the maft. What do you guys think... should I just go back with the safc2?

the gm maf is a blow through so yes it will matter. youre not metering air correctly.

yea... thats what i thought too.... do you think I should just go back to putting my safc2?

Ok guys so i got my car running pretty good with the stock ecu and injectors, I now decided to put back my eprom ecu and 680cc injectors...ok so i changed all this and the car didnt even turn on properly. I switch the wires around and well same thing... now I notice that i have the cam sensor in the valve cover and well for sure its not a 1g cam sensor since its the triangle looking one. What else do I have to do in order to get this thing running back right... also, the ECU has a key diver chip good for my setup... what do you guys think I should do or check????

ok so if i have the CAS in the left of the valve I have to switch the wire... do I also have to invert the CAS? How do i do that... im not using a dsm link so how do i do it?

Car works fine with the stock ecu and injectors, but when i put in the 680cc injectors and the eprom it doesnt work properly, i also put the stock ecu and 680cc and same thing..... also when i turn on the car you hear like a big vacumm leak but there isnt one and rpms go up and down from 1400-2300 rpms.. I really dont know what this one could be...
