Hey guys, a few weeks back I was driving and in order to avoid an accident spunt out when it was raining badly. My right rear tire ended up hitting a curb and ever since my alignment has been off and I have to angle the steering wheel just to drive straight now. Im guessing it hsa something to do with my control arm just not exactly sure which part. I brought it up to the shop a few months back and they quoted me at $130 for what they referred to as the "knuckle". However, now that im selling the car and fixing the problem ASAP they wanna "recheck" in order to make sure they order the right part as I was told some of the parts can be "very expensive". Just wanna make sure I dont get scammed. What are the typical failure points of the control arm? Also, I have a dyno tune appt on friday and the control arm probably wont be fixed in time. This wont effect the tuning process will it? After all, they are only optimizing the performance of the engine not the suspension.

Yea i was thinking about letting them see what the problem is and then just having them get the parts from mitsubishi graveyard. Does anyone have any feedback on them?

I'll gladly come on over so you can take a look at it. Only thing is its getting tuned friday at 1 so it will have to be some time this weekend. I'll PM you

Ran into yet another problem :toobad: I finally got my car back from dyno tuning and ready to sell to this kid who has been waiting to buy it and now it looks like ive gotta drop another load of money on the DSM. I went to auto lab today and they told me that my "spindles" on both the left and the right side were bad. It's the number 3 control arm in the picture. They said they wanted 5 hours of labor for 460 bucks and that they couldnt guarantee anything because working with that particular piece usually leads into having to rebuild the entire axle. The labor price obvioulsy doesnt include the price of the part either which they said is extremely hard to find. What do i do?!? It might be time for mitsubishi graveyard.
