compressor housing swap.

I searched a lil but couldnt really find anything on this. I have my eye on a T28 that i wanna buy but the previous owner cut the compressor housing elbow that conects to the LICP. Can compressor outlets be swapped easily or is it more complicated?

Sounds like 2gDSM's T28 setup (he's a local and good friend) and the answer is yes, because as long as your not removing any of the center section pieces you can.

Yes. Not only is it possible, it is easy as hell.

Compressor cover on held onto the CHRA by either bolts or snap rings. It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes total - from start to finish.

Yes, I agree. The large MHI snap ring can be a PITA. I had a pair of cir-clip pliers that I tried using, and the tips would just break off.

The solution? I took an old set of needle nose pliers and I ground the tips to a finer point. These now make that large snap ring a piece of cake to work with.
