Just did compression test on my 95 tsi. 170k so if number 1 is at the left. My compression went 130 130 140 140. Car runs great no smoke or anything. The engine internals far as I know are all stock

This is my first time owning turbo eclipse. But it runs strong no smoke. Does have a lifter tap.

Will 3g lifters work in a 1g? I'm going to do this to my car if it does along with the rest of the engine build

Yeah they fit, it is a typical fix the damn lifter tapity tap that we get from the early lifters there are 2 other types of revisions from Mitsubishi but using the 3g v6 24 valve lifters are what alot of people do ...I grabbed mine from the local salvage yard and cleaned them out ....a few vids on how to clean them out on the web

That compression is fine if its running good, maybe not optimal but its fine. 3G lifters refer to the third revision of the lifter design, has nothing to do with a third gen Mitsubishi car model.

On his ebay thread where it says compatible vehicles, it says only goes to 93 1st gens. Will it work on a 92

On the ad, you are only looking at 1 of 3 pages of compatible cars.

Anyway, yes they are compatible for 90-99 DSMs (including 1992 models).
