Cometic Headgasket Arp Head Stud&bolts

hi there again fellow DSMers iam kinda new on the DSM scene my head gasket blew a while back well i have been searching and havent found an answer yet. i bought a cometic headgasket 3 layer stock bore for my 1G and i need ARP head studs do i need lonegr head studs because my gasket is thicker than stock? and will this gasket lower my compresssion at all? The reason i bought the gasket because i read good things about it , can anybody help me out?????

The gasket thickness isnt going to have any affect on the length of the studs, and also you will loose a little compression but not enought to really notice

You'll be fine. I used a cometic with off the shelf stock sized arps with no problems.

I recommend using the Mitsubishi MLS and arp's. Cometic didn't seem to last me very long and left me with leaks and horrible looking coolant.

I agree a mitsu mls with arp's is very reliable. Cometic's are pretty good though, speaking from experience but we all tend to differ.

Mits MLS is good with arps, same with the cosmetic..just dont buy a cheap head gasket off ebay
