cold air intake

i bought a weapon r cold air intake system. i could get most of it together but the only adapters i got were one 3" conector and one 2-1/2" to 3" adapter i believe i need two 3" connecters. but i could just be hooking something up wrong.

i believe i need one 3" connecter to connect the pipe to the throttle body and another 3" conector to connect the pipe to the maf. am i crazy or did i just get screwed out of one of my conectors?

its a 2.0 n/t btw

My cai has one 2.5 to 3 for the throttle body. If u need autozone has some silicone thatwill work just fine.

I love Home Depot plumbing couplers, the rubber kind. Cheap yet very tough.

2.5-3 inch coupler from TB-intake. The other coupler to connect the other pipe segment toward the bottom of the car. Make sure you run a bypass valve, so you won't hydro-lock if you happen to drive into a deep puddle!

Honestly of you are going to run any kind of after market intake just avoid deep puddles. If it is the rainy season just take off some piping and make it a temporary short ram intake. You could also get s k&n filter that comes with the water resistant splash cover and avoid the deep ones, these also help with keeping dust and dirt off. I ran one with my old civic before I traded it for my Dsm .

I fabricated a fiberglass panel that goes underneath the intake filter, covering the entire bottom corner of the bumper back to the tire. It's Clean and dry
