I have a 99 non turbo can i get a cool air intake and if so what exactly is it and what does it do and where is the best website to get one off of. and how much will it cost to install? thanks in advance!!!!

I got my cyclone from hp racing for 121 shipped . I bought it from www.nopi.com and go to ecat(ecatalog) pick out you car info and since it is a gs like mine go through and look at 40 some CAI's I love mine although it doesn't come with a airbypass( recommended).

Not too related to the topic but if you are interested in getting some cold air to that N/A motor, try wrapping the tubing in this heat reflective tape. I did on my 1991 Miata N/A, and it made a pretty noticable difference. Help keep that cold air cold while it travels to the intake.

Get it from:
www.summitracing.com

Don't use the other brands. I've tried them and they don't work. DEI is the way to go.

You can probably get a steal on ebay for a cold air intake.

What does a cold air intake do? What it is is a pipe that moves the filter down underneath the car...and since the filter will be away from the heat producing component (your motor) the air it takes in will be colder...colder air has more density thus it will give you improved performance.

Get the iceman. varity of colors, plastic to resist heat, comes as 2 pieces so you can switch from short ram durring winter and rain months to cold air extencion durring the summer.

aem v2 is bad ass. I got a really good deal off of ebay for a brand new one. Installed it about a week ago and it is great. Great sound and performance :thumb:
