coil pack testing

at about 4500 rpm steady... my car will start to feel like its either fuel or spark failure, it start to stutter then it runs like shit i gotta take it outta gear and let the rpms down then its fine until i roll a steady 4500 rpm i beleive its the coil pack... how can i test the pack to see if its still good ?

Your symptoms would seem to lead to faulty wires.

i replaced the plugs and wires wit NGK and it still did it... also sometimes a ruff idle like its missfiring... all my plugs are correct too

could also be your CAS, mine did that same thing when it was going.

ignition coil pack i got on the freeway onramp and it was at 4k rpm and stopped now it wont start so i did some research and its you ignition coil pack.

My coil would cause a sputter at 3k+ noticed a decrease in fuel mileage as well.
