The clutch wouldn't disengage so i pulled the trans and installed a SBR 3500 clutch kit and LSD insert. I found that my original clutch springs were broken and pieces were jamed in the pressure plate... Which I think was keeping ig from releasing the clutch. So i put it all back together and the new clutch still won't disengage. I looked at my clutch fork and it sits a little bit to the left of the line depicted below...
Wouldn't this keep the clutch from disengaging?
If the spring pieces were jammed between the pressureplate and its release spring, wouldn't that cause the fork to bend if one were to push the clutch pedal?
If the clutch fork is so bent that it won't disengage the clutch can shemming the ball joint with washers help (since the clutch fork is $65+ at satan)?
