****Clutch Slave Cylinder Related***

Hi , i have finish bolting on everything in my car poured all the fluids it needs and no leaks no problem.... Except when i went to crank the car and notice my clutch is soft as hell but anyways i know the procedure to bleed the clutch.....

WTFi noticed on the slave cylinder under my car wont budge when i got a buddy pumping the clutch..WTF Whats keeping it from performing as it should?

any advice is appreciated

Sounds like you master cylinder could be shot. Look on you floor board above the clutch pedal to see if it's leaking.

No leaks what so ever not a single drip... not on the floor board nor the in the engine bay its wierd

Did you make sure to get all air from clutch master AND slave cylinder? Not sure if you know but make sure you bleed the clutch master cylinder first then the slave cylinder.

I bleed it according to the V-faq and along with some video tutorials...

i have noticed that the master cylinder isnt really pushing the fluid... you just see the fluid going up and down.....in fact when i press the clutch the slave cylinder doesnt respond. So when im doing the bleed job and have my friend pumping the clutch and holding it so i can release air it does nothing what so ever. as if the clutch isnt building any pressure for it to release underneath where the slave cylinder. but when i bleed the slave cylinder manually you see all the air and crap that comes out now its a solid stream from the slave cylinder still have a soft clutch and cant get into gear


i suspect a leak that causing it to loose pressure but im almost certain that the clutch cylinders work fine but who knows

Keep bleeding and adding fluid. I had to do one 12 times once to get all the air out of the system.

yea im having the the total oppsite my slave is pushing the fork when im not on the pedal so it feels like my clutch is slipping so idk what to do

Adjust your pedal for more freeplay before you ruin your disk and warp your flywheel/pp.

This is how I did mine, i had my 14 yr old sister to help:
Have the person push the pedal to the floor and hold it there, then you unscrew the bleed and wait till fluid comes out. Keep doing that till all air is out.
For the slave I did it manually. I pushed in the rod with my fingers there and cracked the bleed loose, once air was out I tightened it and did it again a few more times. If you are still having problems pm me and I will give you my number so we can do it step by step.
