ok i was driving my car(a 95 eclipse gst) and it just had a new clutch put in it. well about 30 mins of driving and the clutch stopped engaging. like when id give it any gas, it would rev and not reallly move and it went about 2 mph, it would kinda grip in idle but not really. the person riding with me works at chevrolet and he said it was the slave cylinder went bad. is it true because the tow truck driver  said it was an adjustment to the clutch. whats wrong?? btw i had to drive it home bc its too low for the tow truck. so after it cools down it engages a little but just enough to drive. i cant go fast.. and only when its cold. help. thanks.

Clutch adjustment is always needed after installation of new clutch. Bleeding it wouldn't hurt either. Were there any lost of fluids?

i took it to a mechanic and he said he would bleed it and adjust it, but he said the slave cylinder might be bad, he wasnt sure though. he said he would test it out today, and call me after he test it out. oh yeah and what makes me really mad is that i just spent my whole stash of 950 dollars on my clutch replacement and i cant even drive it. this happened the day i got it back from the mechanic too
