I have a 1995 esi and recently I lost the fluid in the resevior by the master cylinder. I filled the resevior up and drove the car home and it was empty again by the time I got home. It sat for 3 weeks and I decided to fill it up again to check for a leak. When I filled it up there was no leak and I pumped the clutch up and took it for a drive. The pedal felt like it wasn't holding pressure and I would have to pump it up a few times in between gears to shift and it was a pain. I haven't done anything else to it. I called a transmission shop and the owner told me it sounded like the master cylinder was bad. I then priced out a master cylinder and was planning to fix it this weekend and now the car is holding pressure and fluid...what could have cause this. I didn't bleed the clutch or change anything.
