Hey all, wanted to post my answer to the clutch master cylinder adjustment problem.
I’ve found that I cannot adjust the master cylinder pushrod enough to get the clutch to fully disengage. It’s especially bad with aftermarket master cylinders and aftermarket clutches, but I’ve even had the problem with OEM parts.
My problem is that either the rod is too short or the clevis doesn’t have enough thread, so I can’t back the rod out far enough.
My solution is to extend the thread:
