clutch making a weird noise

Hey guys i just changed my throwout bearing and pivot ball, i put a washer behind the pivot ball to give it a little bit of a shim. put it all back together and started it up sounded fine. as soon as i went to let the clutch out it started makeing a noise like running a stick down a fence or putting a baseball card in your bike spokes. any body have any ideas?

TOB had this problem with my dad's vega it would do like a pulsing grind when you push the clutch in. We just bought another and started over. Works fine now

Did you torque everything down to specs. It sounds like one of the teeth on the pressure plate could not be uniform and cause at weird noise. Other than that i could only say a manufacture defect TOB

dont have a torque wrench so i just made them all the same amount of pull
