Alright so in the past 3 months i have blown 3 clutches. the first one was a ACT 2600 and after 10000 miles i blew the springs out of it. i replaced it with a fidanza 3.2 and 300 miles later boom it blows apart again. I replaced it yet again with another 3.2 and 800 miles late boom again, this time starting it up in my driveway. What keeps happening is the center hub that holds the springs in keeps blowing apart. Do you have any ideas? This is driving me absolutely nuts!:banghead:

Have you tried to contact Fidanza with your isses? I just got the RGA# to send my clutch to them.

Everything is lining up perfect when you install? How about the transmission dowel pins, they lining up and/or in?

yes i have contacted fidanza again. everything is lining up good when it goes back together. i just dont know what to think? maybe my flywheel was stepped wrong?

was the FW resurfaced for each new clutch im sure it was after the ACT and 10k miles aint too bad for a clutch depending on your driving

I have had the same thing happen. Turns out my input shaft was a little bent and it wasnt going straight into the splines when bolted to the block. It would either blow the torsion springs right out or seperate the friction from the metal. I replaced mine 3 times double checking everything but that.
