So i'm going to be putting and ACT 2100 and a streetlite flywheel in my GVR4 and i was wonder since there has been a stock clutch and flywheel in it if i should be shimming the pivot ball out some?? Any advice on this subject would be helpful thanks...

Are you going to replace the fork and pivot ball? If not I would shim it with one or two washers. I would recommend replacing the slave while you are there also. The only real way to know is to install everything and see were the forks sits. If it sits center of the boot then I would install a shim, if its towards the passenger side add two washers.

Replace the pivot ball and fork. You probably have the stock fork in there which is weak and will probably snap when you put in a heavier clutch. I know because this happened to me after 2 months of running my act 2600.
By replacing these two things you wont have to use a washer. I talked with an act rep along with shep racing, and they both said that when you shim it, it puts a pre-load on the pressure plate causing early failure.
