How does this look? I want to be sure if it needs any shimming or not before I put transmission back on. Comp clutch fork with new pivot ball, OEM clutch master cylinder, OEM clutch slave cylinder

before you shim, what is the step height on the flywheel? Is it proper for whatever clutch you have? Do not say well it's new. That does not matter. Also it does not matter if the flywheel and clutch are the same brand. The only way to know for sure is to measure it. Last question, before you put transmission back on? You mean fully installed? You did have it bolted snug before taking this picture? I only way i know for clutch for position to change is the flywheel being machined down over time so it physically moves the entire assembly away and the step is wrong which moves the fingers of the pressure plate into a different position.

I took that picture BEFORE I removed the transmission so yes it was bolted snug. I am not entirely sure on the step height it was taken care of by a local reputable DSM shop in my area so I’m sure it’s correct for my clutch I drove around before without any issues. The comp clutch fork came with a plastic shim and I left it like that so that picture has the plastic shim. Should I remove and add a thicker one?

I would verify what step you have vs what you need before doing anything. And if you just changed clutch since that picture all bets are off. Fill us in. Why is transmission out?

I will talk to the shop when I pick up transmission, clutch has about 5k miles on it from me driving it, my final gear broke 3 teeth during a WOT pull.

Was the clutch dragging and/or engaging right off the floor?

Also it wasn’t dragging from what I could tell.. I never tested it the correct way but if I 2 stepped with clutch pedal down in gear on flat ground it wouldn’t creep forward

That plastic washer is not meant to be used as a shim, throw it away.
