Hi guys! I'm about to upgrade my clutch! but I need some help here...
First of all I'm on pretty low HP/TQ levels here, 16G with supporting mods at 17-18psi BUT a HX35 is on the way later this year or next year maybe depends on the $$$.
So I'm pretty sure that I want this (http://www.extremepsi.com/store/product.php?productid=24637&cat=1840&page=1) stage 3 clutch.
No my doubt is what flywheel!
Option 1 http://www.extremepsi.com/store/product.php?productid=16363&cat=1374&page=1
Option 2 http://www.extremepsi.com/store/product.php?productid=25506&cat=1374&page=1
I don't know how are those flywheels going to hold with that clutch I also have read that not all flywheels/clutch are compatible with each other.
And yes I know about the drivability issue for having a very light flywheel as the option 1 but I'm willing to try it.
Or if there any other good combo for around $600 I would like to know... no ebay XTD junk please also if you guys have and willing to sell PM me, I rather buy it brand new but I'm open to offers.

I have been thinking about this too and am pretty set on Southbend clutch systems. They use different friction materials to hold better instead of higher pressure plate pressure. Almost stock pedal pressure, same grip. Under 600 for pressure plate and clutch plate. Many different combos for different power levels. http://www.dxdracingclutches.com/listings.cfm If you put in your car it tells you the details for the different combos. Extremely positive feedback and alot of info if you search around on here.

I would go with a steel flywheel like the ACT or the Competition Clutch you posted or Even Just a stock or lightened stock flywheel. From my experience the aluminum flywheel is too light and can cause stalling issues, they also have issues with flywheel bolts backing out and the ring gear coming loose because they are made of different types of metal that expand and contract different. Look a the pic of the aluminum one see all those little screws? They are all little bullets waiting to fly out and destroy you trans ( I unfortunately know from experience :ohdamn:) The aluminium ones have more pieces and more stuff that can go wrong :notgood:

Guys thank you all for the recommendations. As I said I don't want to spend more than $600 for clutch kit + flywheel and I want a lighter flywheel. What do you guys think about spec clutch evo guys use them a lot, MAP carrys them and I can get the combo for like $510 shipped. Don't want to be cheap but I'm trying to safe me some money cause I want an LSD as well.

Hey guys so I'm going to listen to you and the 100s positive reviews all over the internet!
I'm buying this stage 2 daily (http://www.dxdracingclutches.com/ecommerce/K05048-HD-O.cfm?item_id=3024)
Now my only question is can it handle my power levels? 16g 18-20 psi FWD later down the road a HX35 (around ~25psi) and LSD I don't race of any kind nor I have where to LOL but I do some pulls from time to time you know to let the engine breath!
So what do you think?
