Hi, I'm fairly new to tuner world but have a lot of experiance with domestics. I've recently aquired my '98 gst and dropped it off at dealer to have timing belt changed (62k). Prior to change the engine idled smoothly and after warming up pulled 18 psi on my boost/vacuum gauge. Now after the timing belt change, it idles slightly rough and now only holds 14 psi on the vacuum gauge. So i pulled the timing cover and turned engine over to see where marks line up. I was under the impression there was only one notch on each of the cam gears, but found there are two marks per gear... What i found was that 1 set if marks line up but the other dosen't... Did the dealer botch the timing job or is this correct. Oh, also the car does run fine, but does not seem to pull as hard or spool up quite as quick.... pic 1, marks line up, pic 2 they do not...
