no vacume and 5 psi of boost

ok heres the deal i started a thred but it died so im off to start a new one and yes i did use the serch button i use it alot. my throttle wasnt going 100% wot so i adjusted it and had high idle but fixd it but my boost gauge is saying 0 vacume and when i do a pull it sputters up to 5 and thats it i think its the gauge becuase no car can run on no vacume can it? other wise i will build a boost leak tester if anybody thinks other wise please help is bugging me alot

anyways joke apart, have you pulled off your vaccum/boost gauge and checked if its working fine? maybe the vaccum line is pinched, terminate that vaccum line to some other vaccum source and observe the result

when your car is off, does your boost gauge read at zero?
if not then its ## gauge

One of three things..Boost Leak Test..Vacuum line off..You didnt plug maf back in.

cars can run with no vaccuum, you might have moved your cable so much that your throttle body might not be closed do you still idle at the same rpm?

Most cars can run with no vacuum gotta remember we are talking about DSM here.

kk well i will adjust the cable becuase it isnt ideling right and i didnt unplug my maf i never and i never touched any vacume lines. o yea gauge still say 0 when car is off so i guess i will do boost leake test and try a diff gauge
