It's possible that the 2G mirror is different, but the 1G rear view slides down onto a bracket mounted to the windshield and is held in place by a small allen set screw. Look close, it should be there.

The 2G mirror has a little tab that you need to depress with a small flat head. If you look at the mirror base/tab on the windshield you'll see a small hole, stick the screw driver in there.

Actually it looks aight in a spyder. My in law had one which i drove and those mirrors did help a lot for those who are skeptical and never drove a car with one.

im thinking about slapping some stickers on, but idk taking a paint pen to it with some tagging would look badass as well... choices choices! and yes the wide range of view this provides is amazing.
