Check Engine Light on

my check engine light as turned on, and when i asked someone they said that its just one of the things with these cars, and told me that it was a sensor that was no longer functioning right, i believe he mentioned something about a knock sensor or somethin along those lines?

Same ones already dispensed in this thread. Go read the code and figure out what the ECU is trying to tell you.

take it to autozone. and like he said a logger will do you well. maybe you o2 sensor is loose or old

Around here AutoZone doesn't read codes on OBD 1 vehicles. Since he has a 1G that poses a problem.
