check engine light on

ok so my check engine light is on. but only comes on a min after i turn the key to on or start the engine. tried using a 6-12v test lamp to pull codes and nothing im using the top left pin and the bottom right pin. any ideas?

Could be an O2 sensor. My experience with an O2 is that after they warm up the voltage will not be at the right signal causing the check engine light.

nevermind i got an led ligt and got it to work
