Ceramic coatings vs. Jet Hot 2000 coating

Updates as far as? Swaintech is the best hands down. Ffwd is a joke.

I don't have any updates on it outside of getting a lot of my parts coated by Swaintech. I have my Evo3 exhaust manifold and O2 housing coated on my Talon, in addition to running the stock heat shields, and I drive the car daily. I also went with Swaintech coatings on my Eclipse, which has yet to be finished up. I got the FP exhaust manifold and O2 housing coated. I'll be running a turbo blanket on that car, which will be primarily a track car.

On all of the Swaintech coated parts, which are coated white, I went ahead and used a high temp black header paint with a satin clear coat - mainly for looks. Someday I'll have it all put together to show everyone. The more research I did I found that Swaintech is the way to go if you're serious about racing and keeping under-hood temps down. Lots of choices out there for coatings but they are well represented in many forms of racing and are known to deliver.

Can you elaborate on this? Was thinking about using FFWD for my parts.

Check out performancecoatings. These guys really know what they are doing. Have great turn around times and they hold up really well. The biggest thing is heat cycling the coating.
