Anyone know the best place to get some quality but also reasonable priced rattle cans? I need some Cayenne red pearl for my 2g eclipse. I plan to paint my side skirts and door handle to match the rest of the car.

I always go with automotivetouchup for spray cans. For areas like engine bay or small spots i've used autozone chrysler paint. I found one that is basically the same color just different paint code. I'll have to go look to find the name. But sinse the 2g are half chrysler in my mind it's basically the same. I'm also slightly color blind so LOL, check for yourself when you buy.

I believe you can go to a PPG automotive paint store and order the custom match paint for your car in a rattle can! There's one across the street from my apartment here in LA....been thinking about doing that myself. They also have professional grade clear coat in a rattle can.

Thanks for all the replies guys and for the most part my paint isn't faded but obviously it's not going to look like a fresh coat would. I do have some clear coat peeling in some areas but I'm not to worried about it being perfect right now. My side skirts are brighter red and my door handle is black so anything just to get them more so in the ball park until I can afford a full paint job.

We have matched faded paint but its difficult. I am a PPG certified painter at a resto shop. That usually requires finding correct variant of said paint code then testing how much flattener is needed for clear. Or paint it then sand clear and buff with a less then required compound so it doesn't fully buff. IMO I have never seen anything in a rattle can match or hold up very long. But I am biased knowing what I know and have the ability to do this.

I have the same problem here in Canada getting a matching paint. There are a couple of places that will make you up a rattle can but at $23 dollars a can and what you get is what you get.. no guaranty and this must be paid up front . I was so happy to find automotivetouchup but then ran into another problem . My R70 paint code comes back as Patriot Red Pearl but in Canada it`s called Primal Red Pearl. Then the floor fell out when they told me they can not ship to Canada... Dame
