catalytic converter how much will it affect performance

hey i was just wondering since my catalytic converter is really clogged up(so im told) how much will this affect the performance of the car? thanks

alot your engine should run hotter also.. think about it your exhuast is clogged up your engien needs to breathe....

alright thanks man.... good to know my friends 2nd gen eclipse always performed better and i always wondered why with both cars stock... hopefully this is the reason
